Domaine des Cassagnoles is a family-run winery located in Midi-Pyrenees, in the heart of the Armagnac-producing region of Gascony. Gilles and Janine Baumann have owned the vineyards since 1974, and released their first vintage in 1978. This 100% Gros Manseng wine is very light on the nose with a little gooseberry and grapefruit, some smokiness, a bit of caramel and floral elements. The palate is dry and very acidic with some green apple and nectarine notes. This crisp, refreshing wine is a great summer sipper. |
