Just 10 miles up the river from the famous vineyards of Chateauneuf
du Pape lies the little Rhone River village of Chusclan. In 1939 the
growers of Chusclan banded together for the betterment of all. Together
they can afford the finest equipment, can take the highest level of care
for their wines, and make the best of their vineyards. The results are
clear, and very tasty, too.
The Les Amouriers cuvee is primarily composed of Grenache and Syrah,
complemented by other grapes of the Rhone palette. With ripe, juicy
flavors and a rich mouthfeel, it is a great example of the super 2007
vintage in the southern Rhone. This wine over-delivers on pleasure and
flavor. |
