This is a blend of 50% Carignan, 30% Grenache and 20% Syrah.
This wine has been made using the Carbonic Maceration method which
lasted over seven days, after this maceration the wine was pressed.
Alcoholic fermentation was finished off without the skins in underground
tanks. Dark ruby with hint of blue and purple on the border. Black fruit on the nose with hints of menthol and banana with some earthy notes at the finish. Fresh fruit flavors and chocolate followed by a growing reminder of
licorice and tannin which illustrates the use of carbonic maceration. This is an interesting light red wine with refreshing fruity flavors,
good on its own or with light summer dishes as well as grilled red meat. |
