Nice Italian color as expected. Nose brings some nice violets, leather,
light fruit undertones almost like a slight Italian Beaujolais if such a
thing existed, that light fruit style if you get me. Really nice nose. Mouthfeel is a little dry and tannic, but excellent
flavor profile. Nice and light, unexpected sour cherry almost light
rhubarb pie filling action. A nice little finish to this surprising
wine. Really quite light, nothing like I was expecting. Massolino has
been really drummed up and I have to say for around $20 I'm enjoying this quite
a bit. |
