2005 Roty, J Charmes Chambertin Tres Veilles Vignes Rouge
Condition:
A highly complex nose featuring a bright mix of red, black and violet aromas trimmed in ample toast highlights very rich and full-bodied flavors underpinned by super dry extract levels on the explosive but very woody finish. It's honestly hard to say whether this will come together or not but there appears to be enough mid-palate concentration and extract to buffer the chewy tannins and absorb the aggressive toast. BH
