One of my favorite inexpensive offerings from the Blaye region, this deep ruby/purple-colored 2005 reveals relatively big tannin for its style along with plenty of blackberry and earthy fruit, and impressive body, density, glycerin, and alcohol (14% naturally). It should age easily for 4-6 years. RP
