2003 Groffier, Robert Chambolle Musigny les Sentiers Rouge Condition: Interestingly for two vineyards that are relatively near one another, this is much more aromatically elegant and fine though it does display the same toasty oak hints on the nose. The sappy, rich and full-bodied flavors are wonderfully complex and completely coat the palate on the lengthy backend. There is also more Chambolle character in evidence as this is a wine of finesse despite the generous and forward sappy texture. BH BH91.88 |
