This is the Roc de Cambes' finest effort since the 1990. Notes of black cherry jam (kirsch) soar from the glass of this expansive, full-bodied, fleshy sexpot. Deep and chewy, with plenty of chocolate, cocoa, blackberry, and cherry fruit displayed in a flamboyant style, it is a knockout, sensual wine to drink now and over the next 10-12 years. It is also a sleeper of the vintage. RP
